Indonesia has strong foundations for advancing through research and innovation. Across research institutions, laboratories, universities, industries, startups, and communities, new knowledge, technologies, and solutions continue to emerge.
Yet, the true value of innovation lies not only in discovery, but in its ability to deliver solutions, create value, and generate meaningful impact. This requires connecting research with industry, technology with the market, and knowledge with the needs of society.
No institution can build the future alone. Researchers, universities, industries, startups, investors, government institutions, communities, and society must work together as part of a strong and connected innovation ecosystem.
In this context, BRIN plays a role in orchestrating Indonesia’s national innovation ecosystem connecting capabilities to connect, collaborate, co-create, amplify impact, and accelerate innovation. The Indonesia Innovation Summit & Expo 2026 (IISE) is part of this commitment.
